The living legend is back in full effect.

Ever since he broke the world record for longest rap, MURS has had us excited for his new material. Good news for us, MURS confirmed in a recent Instagram post that his new album, Captain California, is on its way and is scheduled for release in early to mid 2017.

In addition, we now have a sample of Captain California through a song called “Colossus”, which can be found in the deluxe edition of Tech N9ne’s The Storm.

2016 has been filled with a lot of bumps and transitions. This is a pic from the morning I woke up and decided my album was finished. Most of it was written while driving multiple trips between AZ AND L.A. Playing beats with my son in the back seat if I was lucky. It’s called “Captain California”. You’ll get to hear it sometime early to mid next year. You can hear “Colossus” the first song I’m releasing from it on the deluxe version of Tech’s new album.
