Remember Tech’s signature red-spiked hair? How could you forget. SF Station, San Francisco’s city entertainment guide, caught up with Tech in 2007 after he traded in his red mohawk for a more clean-cut style. When asked why he cut his red mohawk, Tech said he “started looking like a silly clown.”

SF Station also asked Tech about the connection between the Bay Area and Kansas City rap scenes. “The Bay style is deep rooted in Kansas City,” Tech said. “It’s crazy how it happened, because we are so far away.”
