During his visit to New York earlier this month, Tech N9ne linked up with world famous hip hop photographer Jonathan Mannion for a very special photo shoot. In typical Tech fashion, the goal was to capture the intensity and absolute madness that is Tech N9ne. Jonathan Mannion has long been considered one of hip hop’s top photographers, having contributed some of the most iconic images in music. His credits include work with Notorious B.I.G., DMX, Ja Rule, Eminem, Nas, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, and Aaliyah. Perhaps his most famous work, Mannion is responsible for the now classic photograph that graces the cover of Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt.
As an icon in his own right, Tech N9ne understand the significance of powerful imagery. Jonathan Mannion’s work has elevated him to the top of the hip hop photography world, and a project with Tech N9ne could prove to be very beneficial. Mannion’s personal blog recently updated fans with a few behind the scenes images of the New York City photo shoot with Tech. With a huge promotional campaign behind All 6’s And 7’s, fans are sure to see these images sooner than later.
