As the newest act on Strange Music, Stevie Stone is beginning to make headlines of his own. In Kansas City for Tech N9ne’s instore signing, Stevie Stone spoke to MTV’s Mixtape Daily on the history between he and Tech N9ne, plus the road to Strange Music. Stevie reveals that his relationship with Tech actually stems back to a decade ago when he first opened for Tech while he was in highschool. Despite initially signing with Ruthless Records, Stevie Stone kept in contact with Tech N9ne until the timing was right for everyone. On how he felt about the deal, Stevie says:

“It was a move that was in my heart. I knew it was the move to make, and I guess they felt the same way. And when the time presented itself, we inked,” said Stevie, holding up his Strange Music chain with pride.

Currently out on the All 6’s And 7’s Tour, Stevie Stone is getting up close and personal with Strange Music fans around the country. His Strange Music debut, Rolling Stone, is expected to drop in early 2012.
