It looks as though the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards are about to get a little strange. A production schedule recently leaked via Twitter to reveal the scheduled performers for this year’s Cypher segments. BET has included these Cypher segments during all of their Hip Hop Awards and they have become a major part of the show after showcasing names like Eminem, Mos Def, Nicki Minaj, and Joe Budden. This year, fans will get six different Cyphers featuring some of the biggest names in hip hop. Among the names included on the list is none other than Tech N9ne himself. Listed under Cypher 5, Tech will be joining the likes of Kendrick Lamar, B.o.B, Big K.R.I.T., and Machine Gun Kelly. Fans may recall that Tech recently tweeted several updates and photos of himself with Machine Gun Kelly in New York. The mystery of what Tech N9ne was doing at BET seems to be solved.

Fans first began buzzing after XV mentioned the cypher and Tech N9ne over Twitter. A look at the schedule reveals that XV was part of Cypher 1 with Strange Music’s own Jay Rock. Tech N9ne and Jay Rock will both appear on the show during separate segments, but there’s no doubt that Strange Music will be in full effect.

The 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards are scheduled to air on October 11 at 8 PM/7 PM CST. Stay tuned for more as it develops!
