Music has always been said to be a powerful form of healing. No one knows that better than Tech N9ne fans as the emcee recently told WatchMojo in a brand new interview that also included some revealing details about his original interest in the field of psychiatry.

Discussing his early influences, musical diversity, and initial push to become a rapper, Tech N9ne explained that he first sought out to be a psychiatrist, going so far as to steal books in order to learn as much as he could.

While the dream of becoming a psychiatrist eluded Tech, he was still able to provide therapeutic relief and connect with people through his music.

The brand new interview was originally shot during Tech’s Canadian trek with Krizz Kaliko and Madchild of Swollen Members – both of whom make hilarious cameos.
