The BET Hip Hop Awards aired last night, with hip hop fans on the edge of their seats in anticipation for the annual cyphers, by now a well-loved staple of the awards show.

As to be expected, Rittz demolished his appearance in his cypher with Wax, Rapsody, Emis Killa and Jon Connor, repping Strange Music in the process by giving the label a shout out and flaunting his Snake And Bat chain. The Gwinnett County representative’s verse was peppered with his trademark chopping abilities, clever punchlines and shrewd self-marketing to make for a 16 that left a big impression.
