History was made in more ways than one at The Midland Theater last night in Kansas City.

The homecoming show for The Something Else Tour was a night to remember. On top of Tech N9ne being presented his RIAA-certified gold plaque for “Caribou Lou”, acclaimed illustrator Rob Prior (who also made a limited edition Tech N9ne poster available at strangemusicinc.net) made it to the show to attempt something that he’s never done before: create a masterpiece live on the stage. The genius-madman of an artist promised it would be the biggest canvas he’d ever painted on.

Not only did Rob Prior deliver, he killed it.
