Tech N9ne came, he saw 55,000 people, and he conquered. Kansas City’s Rockfest will never be the same.

Rockfest 2015 was the first time that the biggest one-day music festival saw a hip hop act, and from the response of the crowd, you would have thought he was the main headliner. Tech N9ne took to the stage in front of 55,000 people from his hometown and put on the show of a lifetime, full of highlights that only Rockfest was able to see.

Here’s some photos to give you an idea.

Jacoby Shaddix from Papa Roach, a longtime fan of Tech N9ne and Strange Music, took the stage with heavy praise for Tech, even going as far to suggest that Papa Roach and Tech N9ne do a world tour together. It was a long time coming, but the longtime fans of one another finally got to link up. Let’s hope something musical comes from the meeting!
