Mackenzie Nicole knows how to bring in the holiday season to Kansas City.

Just last Friday, 95.7 The Vibe held their annual Elfmas at the Uptown Theater – featuring Mackenzie Nicole, Tove Lo, Zara Larsson, and special guests Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko. To give us a breakdown of what all went down at the show, The Kansas City Star did a recap.

Her brief set showcased her affinity for fusing R&B, pop, soul and hip-hop into something fresh and appealing if not unique. Backed by three singers and as many as four dancers, she opened with “Deleted”, which showed off her strong, agile voice and her polished stage personae. She was joined by label mate Krizz Kaliko on one number. On the rousing “Actin’ Like You Know”, she was joined by Tech N9ne.
