Any gamer knows how important a great soundtrack is to the gaming experience and with WWE2K18 set for an October release, who better to man the proverbial aux chord than avid music fan and WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson?!

In a recent press release detailing his involvement, Johnson said, “Music is one of my soul’s anchors…All genres. I’m excited to celebrate my WWE roots by partnering with the 2K and Apple Music teams and share some of my favorite hardcore training songs with fans all over the world.”

It’s been well documented that The Rock smells what Strange Music is cookin‘ as you might expect from one of the most consistent and most vocal supporters of the Snake & Bat, his hand-picked WWE2K18 selections feature two songs from Strange, ¡MAYDAY! and Tech’s “Last One Standing” as well as Tech and Krizz’ collaboration with Serj Tankian, “Straight Out The Gate”!

Additionally, The Rock has created an Apple Music playlist with all of his picks to get you ready to rumble.
